Irish Agreement  

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF AUSTRALIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF IRELAND FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION AND THE PREVENTION OF FISCAL EVASION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME AND CAPITAL GAINS  

ARTICLE 24   Source of Income  

(1)    
Income or gains derived by a resident of one of the Contracting States which, under any one or more of Articles 7 to 9, 11 to 19 and Article 23 may be taxed in the other Contracting State, shall for the purposes of the taxation law of the other Contracting State be deemed to be income or gains from sources in the other Contracting State.

(2)    
Income or gains derived by a resident of one of the Contracting States which, under any one or more of Articles 7 to 9, 11 to 19 and Article 23 may be taxed in the other Contracting State, shall for the purposes of Article 25 and of the taxation law of the first-mentioned Contracting State be deemed to be income or gains from sources in the other Contracting State.
