DEVELOPMENT ALLOWANCE AUTHORITY ACT 1992 (REPEALED)
An application must be in writing in the approved form.
93X(2) Information in form.The application must contain such information as is required by the form to be given.
93X(3) Accompanying reports etc.The application must be accompanied by any report or other document required by the form to be given.
93X(4) Signing of application etc.The application, and any accompanying report or other document created by an applicant, must be signed by the applicant if the applicant is a natural person. If the applicant is not a natural person, they must be signed on behalf of the applicant by whichever of the following natural persons is applicable:
(a) if the applicant is an incorporated body that has a board of directors (however described) - the chairperson (however described) of the board;
(b) in any other case - the natural person designated by the form as the signatory. 93X(5) Power to refuse to consider application.
If the DAA gives a request to an applicant under Part 4 that is relevant to the application, the DAA may refuse to consider the application unless the applicant complies with the request.

93X(7) Decision on application.
After considering an application, the DAA must decide:
(a) to grant the application; or
(b) to refuse the application. 93X(8) Notice of decision.
The DAA must give written notice of the decision to each applicant.
93X(9) Reasons for refusal.A notice of a refusal of an application must set out the reasons for the refusal.
