  • Claiming the JobMaker Hiring Credit

    Don't miss your chance to claim for the first JobMaker Hiring Credit claim period for additional eligible employees who were hired from 7 October 2020 to 6 January 2021.

    To claim and receive payments, eligible employers need to:

    • Register - via ATO online services, Online services for business, or through your registered tax or BAS agent by 30 April.
    • Nominate eligible additional employees - by running payroll events through Single Touch Payroll (STP) enabled software by 27 April.
    • Claim payments - using ATO online services or Online services for business or through your registered tax or BAS agent by 30 April.

    You can register at any time until the scheme ends. You only need to register once, but you must do it before the end of the claim period for the first JobMaker period you want to claim for.
