Changes are coming to the way you access technical support.
From Monday 20 November, the Technical Help Desk (THD) phone line will be disconnected and you’ll be directed to Online services help for technical support. From this date, if you’re having difficulty accessing ATO online services, all self-help services are in one centralised location on ato.gov.au.
Since its introduction in 2010, the demand for the THD service has drastically reduced due to the improvement in our Online services. Recently all THD content was refreshed and consolidated onto ato.gov.au, providing an improved user-friendly experience to resolve common errors and issues. You can also ask our virtual assistant Alex to help resolve your issue, and if you require further assistance, contact us to speak to a customer service representative.
The THD phone line will continue to be available until Monday 20 November. We appreciate your support as we continue to improve your experience with ATO online services.
