    We provide free webcasts (video broadcasted events), videos and webinars (online seminars) on a wide range of topics relevant to you, your practice and clients.

    Tax professionals conversations is our series of webcasts for the tax profession.

    These are hosted by Colin Walker, Assistant Commissioner, ATO and usually have a panel made up of members of professional associations, tax agents, BAS agents, digital service providers (software developers) and senior ATO staff.

    They are held throughout the year in February, April, June, September and November, and usually run for one hour.

    During the live stream viewers can ask questions via a live chat facility or through Twitter.

    Webcast troubleshooting

    To reduce buffering and stalling during the webcast, ensure you close any unnecessary applications. If possible, reduce the number of staff accessing your network at one time.

    If you watch the webcast on a mobile device via a 3G or 4G connection, the buffering will be related to the quality of your mobile carrier’s connection.
