  • Client communication list

    The Client communication list (CCL) function in the Tax and BAS agent portals gives you online access to communications we have issued for your clients.

    You can:

    • view most letters, emails and SMS messages as soon as we know the communication has been sent
    • see communications for your clients who have linked the ATO to their myGov accountExternal Link
    • access up to five years of communications
    • search for communications in a more practical way.

    Not all our communications with you and your clients are available in the CCL. However we will continue to progressively add more communications types to enhance this function further.

    Tax agents can access:

    • notices, such as notices of assessment
    • statements of account
    • payment arrangement letters
    • payment or lodgment reminders
    • letters about PAYG instalments
    • letters about super contributions from employers
    • referral warning letters
    • tax receipts.

    BAS agents can access:

    • payment arrangement letters
    • payment or lodgment reminders
    • letters about GST registrations
    • letters about PAYG instalments.

    Clients with a myGov account

    If you represent clients that have a myGov account that is linked to the ATO, they will receive some communications from us electronically in their myGov Inbox.

    For these clients, their myGov Inbox becomes the default channel for delivery of some ATO communications.

    Your client will receive an email or SMS notification from myGov to let them know they have a new message in their Inbox. This means there is potential for your client to view a communication immediately.

    Communications sent to your client's myGov Inbox are only available for you to view in the CCL. You will not receive the communication via paper or email.
