Portal mail allows you to securely communicate with us on a range of topics. Through the portal mail you can receive messages from us and send us requests and attachments.
It is recommended that you set up email notification. You will then receive an automatic email, at your nominated email address, when you receive a message from us in your Portal Inbox. Note that our email notifications will always be sent from a single trusted email address: Taxofficeportalmessagenotify@ato.gov.au.
Be sure to always include all relevant information in the message, including your client's tax file number (TFN), Australian business number (ABN) and name.
