Annual report and other reporting to Parliament

We welcome parliamentary scrutiny as a significant and appropriate element of governance and a positive opportunity for constructive discussion.

Our annual report is the main way we report to parliament. We also regularly appear before several parliamentary committees, providing them with information and assistance and helping them understand how we administer the tax and superannuation systems.

The ATO also reports annually on its performance in administering the GST (goods and services tax) for the states and territories.
