The Communication Content Working Group met on 18 August 2021.
Members endorsed the updated Intent statement of the group and the name change to Communication Content Working Group which better reflects the expanded scope of content being reviewed at meetings.
The new Intent statement for the group will be – The Communication Content Working Group will review and co-design products to assist the ATO in developing suitable communication solutions for tax and BAS agents and their clients.
Members reviewed and discussed proposed guidance material which included:
- Web content and letters advising of the expansion of automated offsetting capabilities for branched entities and GST joint ventures from January 2022.
- Web content providing agent guidance material which includes background information about the director ID initiative and how agents in their role can support their clients.
