    High rainfall forecast for Brisbane

Weather predictions indicate Brisbane may experience a significant amount of rain on Friday 13 May that may result in localised flooding. This is forecast to ease over the weekend.

If you have the option to work from home on Friday 13 May, consider talking to your manager about ad hoc working from home arrangements in these circumstances.

Our sites remain open for those who do not have the option of working from home.

If it becomes unsafe to travel to work:

    • contact your manager
    • if possible, work at home. If not, discuss accessing leave or alternative work options
    • call People Helpline (13 15 50) for more specific advice or guidance.

If local conditions worsen and you need to change your working arrangements or take leave to attend to family or your property, you should discuss your options with your manager or contact People Helpline on 13 15 50.

    Site restriction levels

    • Subject to public health orders, all sites are at level 1 restrictions.
    • When a site is at level 1 restrictions, all staff who want to access hybrid working will need a current working at home agreement in place.
    • Everyone is responsible for following the COVID-safe measures on site, including any face mask requirements.
    • In line with the last 2 years, we will continue to monitor conditions and adapt our approach if required.
    • If you have tested positive for COVID-19, you or your manager must notify the ATO through People Connect as soon as possible.
