This table shows the:

• number of SMSFs that were established or wound up during each financial year
• overall number of SMSFs and members
• total assets in SMSFs.

These figures are estimates based on SMSF annual return form data. To ensure consistency, the figures used in this table are those reported in the Self-managed super fund statistical report, June 2015.
