Arranging access

How to arrange access to EmployerTICK.

Last updated 21 March 2021

We automatically provide access to EmployerTICK for entities likely to have a super guarantee (SG) obligation for an employee, being entities registered as employers on our systems.

To connect to the service, you may need to build or purchase SBR-certified EmployerTICK enabled software. Refer to your procedures and, or support area for further information.

Appointing an agent to act on your behalf (including clearing houses)

Employers that choose to use EmployerTICK may provide authority for an agent to act on their behalf. Access Manager is a stand-alone application used to appoint agents including administrators, gateway providers, clearing houses and payroll providers.

Existing relationships with clearing houses and other large agents

Employers that have an existing relationship with a clearing house or other large agent (as determined by the Commissioner of Taxation) may not be required to re-appoint that entity. Contact your clearing house, or agent for further information.

Information regarding special access permissions (also known as the ‘Gold pass’) for clearing houses or large agents is available at Attachment A.
