About
The Australian Banking Association Steering Group aims to:
- provide a consultative forum in which to discuss issues affecting Australian Banking Association (ABA) members’ ability to comply with the taxation laws administered by the ATO
- enable ABA members to obtain a better understanding of the ATO’s perspective on the banking industry
- enable the ATO to obtain a better understanding of the operating environment and the inherent characteristics of the banking industry
- provide an opportunity for the co-design of ATO operations and administrative programs which will impact ABA members.
