Finalisation of the Tax Profession Cyber Security Working Group
Australian Taxation Office (ATO) cyber security subject matter experts delivered presentations on the remaining priorities identified in the Tax Profession Cyber Security Working Group's forward work plan, covering:
- access management
- incident response
- email security
- risk management.
The completion of these priorities marks the successful conclusion of the group's program of work.
The ATO thanked members for their valuable contributions and collaboration throughout the life of the working group. While the Tax Profession Cyber Security Working Group has now concluded, members were invited to continue engaging on cyber security matters through the Cyber Security Stakeholder Group (CSSG), which provides a forum for sharing insights, discussing emerging cyber security issues and supporting collaboration across the broader tax and superannuation ecosystem.
