The SBSCH is now closed

If you still haven’t found an alternative provider, you must find one now to continue meeting your super payments.

Published 2 July 2026

The Small Business Super Clearing House (SBSCH) closed permanently on 1 July 2026, and you can no longer view or download records.

Any payments to the SBSCH received on or after 1 July 2026 will be returned to you within 7 business days.

If you haven’t yet found an alternative provider, you must do so now to continue meeting your super payments and avoid the super guarantee charge (SGC). This includes meeting the final quarterly payment, due 28 July.

Check your existing payroll software, as it may already include super functions you can use to pay super. Alternatively, you can look for:

  • payroll software with integrated super payment functions
  • commercial clearing houses
  • super funds with clearing house services
  • messaging portals that send compliant SuperStream data to funds directly.

More information on these options is available at SuperStream for employers.
