As a trustee of a self-managed super fund (SMSF) you must notify us of any changes to your SMSF.
No matter how minor they may seem, updates must be reported to us within 28 days.
These changes could include:
- contact details (contact person, phone or email address)
- change of structure within your SMSF
- change in fund status
- bank account details.
Keeping your information current is essential. If your contact details are out of date, you could miss important correspondence and time-sensitive notifications from us.
To help protect your fund, we'll send an alert via SMS, email or both whenever changes are made. These alerts are designed to safeguard your SMSF against potential fraud or misconduct. Please note our SMS alerts do not contain hyperlinks.
