Windows – clear the cache and cookies on Internet Explorer
Option 1:
- Hold down Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard to bring up Delete browsing history.
- De-select Preserve favourites website data and ensure the next 3 options are selected – Temporary internet files, cookies, and history.
- Select Delete. Once the process has completed, close all Internet Explorer windows, and reopen it to ensure the changes take effect.
Option 2:
- Hold down Alt + T on your keyboard to bring down the Tools menu.
- Select Delete browsing history.
- De-select Preserve favourites website data and ensure the next 3 options are selected – Temporary internet files, cookies, and history.

Windows – clear the cache and cookies on Mozilla Firefox
Option 1:
- Hold down Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard to bring up Clear browsing data and cookies.
- Change the Time range to clear to Everything.
- Select Temporary cached files and pages and Cookies and site data, then select Clear at the bottom.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
Option 2:
- Hold down Alt + S on your keyboard to bring down the History menu.
- Select Clear recent history.
- Change the Time range to Clear to everything.
- Select Temporary cached files and pages and Cookies and site data, then select Clear at the bottom.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
Option 3:
- Press the 3 lines on the top right-hand side (menu option).
- Select History, then select Clear recent history.
- Change the Time range to Clear to everything.
- Select Temporary cached files and pages and Cookies and site data, then select Clear at the bottom.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Option 1:
- Hold down Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard to bring up Delete browsing data.
- Select the time range to All time.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Delete from this device.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
Option 2:
- Select the 3 vertical dots on the top right-hand corner, then select Delete browsing data.
- Select the time range to All time.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Delete from this device.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.

Option 1:
- Hold down Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard to bring up Delete browsing data.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Clear now.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
Option 2:
- Select the 3 horizontal dots on the top right-hand corner, then select History.
- Inside History, select the bin icon to navigate to Delete browsing data.
- Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
- Select Clear now.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
MacOS – clear the cache and cookies on Safari 9 and above
- Select the Safari menu.
- Select 'Clear history…'.
- Ensure that All history is selected in the clear field.
- Select Clear history.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
MacOS – clear the cache and cookies on Safari 8
- Select the Safari menu.
- Select Clear history and website data.
- Ensure that All history is selected in the clear field.
- Select Clear history.
- Close and reopen the browser to ensure the changes take effect.
MacOS – clear the cache and cookies on Safari 7 and older
- Select the Safari menu.
- Select Reset Safari.
- Select All options.
- Select Reset.
- The browser will automatically close and reopen.
MacOS – clear the cache and cookies on Mozilla Firefox

- Ensure the time range to clear is set to Everything.
- Select Temporary cached files and pages and Cookies and site data, then select Clear at the bottom.
