Guidance for super funds on the closure of the ATO's SBSCH

Employers should treat their third quarter super contribution as their final payment through the SBSCH.

Employers who currently use the Small Business Super Clearing House (SBSCH) are encouraged to download their records and leave the service after making their third quarter super payment. The payment for the JanuaryMarch period is due by 28 April.

The SBSCH will close permanently on 1 July 2026. After this date, employers will no longer be able to access the service or retrieve their records.

Super funds may receive enquiries from employers seeking guidance on alternative providers.
