Final changes to the SuperStream contributions standard and the new Fund Validation Services (FVS) start on 1 July 2026.
To help prepare for this change, final technical and support documents will be published to the ATO software developer’s websiteExternal Link during December.
New documents to be published include:
- Schedule 2 Terms and definitions
- Schedule 5 Message orchestration and profiles
- Conformance implementation guide.
To provide greater clarity the following documents will be updated and published at the same time:
- Schedule 4a Contributions MIG
- Schedule 6 Error Code Management
- Contributions user guide
- Response Messaging Framework user guide
- Fund Validation Services user guide.
Funds and their digital service providers, need to review the SuperStream standard and FVS technical guidance to support the build and deployment of these changes.
