USM and lost member reporting due soon

Assess, report and pay USM and lost member data by 31 October 2025 to meet your reporting and payment obligations.

Published 9 October 2025

You must assess, report and pay unclaimed super money (USM) and complete lost member reporting by 31 October 2025 to meet your legislated reporting and associated payment obligations.

Report and pay for: unclaimed super monies, former temporary residents unclaimed super, small and insoluble lost member accounts and inactive low-balance accounts. If you don't have any USM, lost member accounts, or inactive low balance accounts to report and pay, lodge a non-lodgment advice.

Assess the lost status of your members twice a year. First, between 31 December and 30 April – if a member’s ‘lost status’ account changes, report it by 30 April. Second, between 30 June and 31 October – if the member’s ‘lost status’ account changes again, report it by 31 October.
