The community play an important role as owners of Australia's tax, superannuation and registry systems. We are committed to consulting with the community, industry and tax professionals to improve the administration of these systems.

Our ATO Consultation framework is a reference document for people involved in consultation.

You are encouraged to get involved in consultation by:

• raising a matter for consultation
• being involved in our open consultations
• joining a consultation group
• joining the Small Business Consultation Panel.

Our consultation groups consist of:

• special purpose working groups
• stakeholder relationship groups
• stewardship groups.
