Verifying your photo adds an extra layer of protection to your myID – checking you’re a real person, the right person and verifying in real time. Now Western Australians can use their drivers licence to verify their photo in the myID app, making it easier to achieve a Strong identity strength.
Why it matters for your not-for-profit
A Strong myID can help you:
- set up your organisation in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) – making the linking process faster and more efficient
- unlock access to more services, including streamlined director ID application
- secure your access to ATO online services – protecting yourself from identity crime, including tax fraud.
While a passport remains the most streamlined way to achieve a Strong myID, using a WA drivers licence combined with other identity documents is now a viable alternative.
