If you hold a Western Australian drivers licence you can now use it to verify your photo in the myID app – making it easier to achieve a Strong identity strength.
Verifying your photo adds an extra layer of protection to your myID – checking you’re a real person, the right person and verifying in real time.
Why it matters for your business
A Strong myID can help you to:
- set up your business in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) – making the linking process faster and more efficient
- unlock access to more services, including streamlined director ID application
- secure your access to ATO online services by setting your online access strength to the highest level – protecting yourself from identity crime, including tax fraud.
While a passport remains the most streamlined way to achieve a Strong myID, using your WA drivers licence combined with other identity documents is now a viable alternative.
