If you lodge your March quarterly business activity statements (BAS) through a tax or BAS agent, you may get an extra 4 weeks and have until 26 May to lodge and pay.
Using a registered tax or BAS agent can help ensure your BAS is lodged correctly and on time.
Even if there’s nothing to report, you still need to lodge your BAS. A ‘nil’ lodgment only takes a moment to complete and lets us know your obligations are up to date. If you’ve been lodging ‘nil’ BAS for a while, consider whether you should cancel your GST and other registrations.
If you’re finding it hard to lodge and pay in full and on time, you should contact us as soon as possible. We’ll then work with you to find a solution.
