Our GST Stewardship Group brings together a diverse range of perspectives to help improve how GST works in practice. You could provide insights based on real-world experiences to help identify opportunities to improve GST administration and make it easier for businesses to get things right.
We’re seeking applicants from across the community who can:
- share their expertise, knowledge and insights about GST and act as GST stewards
- identify opportunities to improve the operation and administration of the GST system, making it easy for businesses to get it right
- actively contribute to discussions by providing insights into issues impacting GST compliance and the taxpayer and tax professional experience
- effectively share information with your networks, including communication our meeting’s outcomes with them.
Successful members are appointed for a 2-year term and meet face-to-face 3 to 4 times a year and virtually on other occasions to provide advice on consultation matters.
