Register for PRRT

Complete and lodge this application to register an entity's interest in a project for petroleum resource rent tax.

Last updated 27 January 2014

Complete and lodge this application to register an entity's interest in a project for petroleum resource rent tax (PRRT). This includes an interest in an exploration permit, retention lease, production licence, combination certificate, the North West Shelf project or the Bass Strait project.

If the entity has an interest in a project and is not registered for PRRT, they should consider registering for PRRT and providing up-to-date contact details. This will enable us to provide the entity with important information to help make PRRT decisions. The entity will be issued with a unique payment reference number (PRN) to enable them to pay electronically.

As PRRT is assessed on a project basis, entities should lodge a separate registration form with us for their interest in each project.

Information about how to fill in and lodge the application is provided on the form.

For details about the personal information we collect from you see Privacy notice – Register for PRRT.
