The ATO and Australian Financial Markets Association (AFMA) joint liaison group provides a forum to:
- discuss the environmental and commercial drivers that impact the financial and tax performance of the banking and securities industries
- raise issues affecting AFMA members’ ability to comply with the taxation laws administered by the ATO
- communicate the ATO’s perspective on the application and administration of taxation laws and compliance programs as they apply to the banking and securities industries.
