SBSCH Final Processing Timeframes

The ATO’s Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) closes today, this means we will not process any payments received after 11.59 pm AEST 30 June 2026.

We are writing to provide clarity on the final SBSCH processing timeframes for payments received prior to closure:

  • 30 June 2026 - today’s SBSCH aggregation run will proceed as planned
  • 1 July to 5 July 2026 - no SBSCH aggregation runs are planned
  • 6 July 2026 - the final SBSCH aggregation run will occur (to clear any residual payments received by the ATO prior to the above cut-off).

As per our usual processes, it is anticipated associated payments and data messages should be received 2 business days after the run date.

What about failed transactions
In limited circumstances, the SBSCH may still send payments after 8 July 2026. For example, where data messages fail, we will still re-issue the payment in line with existing practice.

What you need to do:
Please continue to process any SBSCH contributions received and report any errors (via CTER) in line with existing processes.

We will monitor final processing and engage directly if any issues arise.

If you have any enquiries, please lodge a request using the Super Enquiry Service.
