    The ATO has commitments to service in place to assure ourselves and the community that the services we provide are of a consistent and high standard.

    Our commitments to service publicly state the level of performance you can expect when dealing with us under normal circumstances. We are committed to developing, monitoring and reporting on our commitments to service in areas that are important to you.

    We set performance targets that are intended to be challenging, attainable with effort, affordable and meaningful to you. In doing this, we consider both our historical performance and your expectations when you use our services.

    We publish information about how we are performing against our commitments to service. By doing so, we honour our commitment to transparent management, accountability for results and client-centred service delivery.
