We are respected and trusted as the authoritative voice of the Commissioner on matters of law and revenue analysis.

Working with us, you’ll have the opportunity to use your skills and experience in the areas of tax and super policy, law design, law interpretation, litigation and the resolution of disputes.

You'll:

• champion the simplification of the tax and super laws, to deliver an improved and streamlined client experience
• use sound judgment and critical analysis to interpret and apply taxation and super law
• use insights, relationships and data to make evidence-based decisions that drive effective and efficient outcomes
• develop and manage relationships within the ATO and across the APS, and work collaboratively to deliver the ATO’s objectives
• work with other government agencies and forums to help shape tax and super policy and law and implement the government’s legislative agenda.
