The information we need for a private ruling or objection about the deductions you can claim for interest includes:
- a copy of the loan agreement/document. If there is no written agreement, provide a full description of the terms of the agreement
- a description of what the funds were used for
- documentation showing that you (or someone you nominated) received the money borrowed, and that you have made repayments.
- any other documents that will support the statements made in your application.
