1. My brothers Mason and Wilson set out in their reasons for judgment in this matter, which I have had the advantage of reading, the relevant facts and legal considerations relevant to the resolution of the question in this case, namely, was the Committee of Direction of Fruit Marketing an authority of the State of Queensland? (at p579)

2. I am firmly of opinion that this question should be answered in the affirmative. I would be satisfied to adopt the reasons given for that conclusion by the Federal Court of Australia, both at first instance and on appeal. A review of the statutory powers and functions of the Committee leads clearly, in my opinion, to that conclusion. I agree with the conclusion of my brothers as expressed in the penultimate paragraph of their reasons for judgment. (at p579)

3. I would also dismiss the appeal. (at p579)
