Division 137 - How do HELP debts arise?  

SECTION 137-20  

137-20   HELP debt discharged by death  
Upon the death of a person who owes a *HELP debt to the Commonwealth, the debt is taken to have been paid.

Note:

HELP debts are not provable in bankruptcy: see subsection 82(3AB) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .
