9   Subsection 4(1) (definition of party)

Repeal the definition, substitute:

party :

(a) to an acquisition - has the meaning given by subsections 51ABI(1) and (2); and

(b) to a contract that is a covenant - includes a person bound by, or entitled to the benefit of, the covenant.
