Foreign States Immunities Act 1985

51   Application of amendments

(1) Section 13A of the Foreign States Immunities Act 1985 applies in relation to a proceeding to the extent the proceeding relates to an act or omission that occurs on or after the commencement of this item.

(2) Section 33A of the Foreign States Immunities Act 1985 applies in relation to:

(a) a judgment that is made, or an order that is given, on or after the commencement of this item; or

(b) an arbitration award that is made on or after the commencement of this item; or

(c) the arrest, detention or sale of the property in Admiralty proceedings if the arrest, detention or sale occurs on or after the commencement of this item.
