SECTION 183B   INTERPRETATION  

183B(1)    
In this Division, unless the contrary intention appears, ``application'' means an application under section 183CA .

183B(2)    


For the purposes of this Division, a person shall be taken to participate in the work of a customs broker if -

(a)    

the person has authority as a nominee of, or as an agent, officer or employee of, the customs broker, to do any act or thing for the purposes of the Customs Acts on behalf of an owner of goods; or

(b)    

the person has authority to direct a person who has authority referred to in paragraph (a) in the exercise of that authority; or

(c)    

the person has authority to do any act or thing on behalf of the customs broker.
