APPLICATION OF AMENDMENTS

GENERAL
1488(1)
[
Application to margin lending financial services]
(a) a dealing in a margin lending facility that was issued after commencement; or
(b) the provision of financial product advice in relation to a margin lending facility that was issued after commencement.

Hide history noteThe amendments made by the amending Schedule apply in relation to a margin lending financial service that is provided on or after the day that is 12 months after commencement.
1488(2) [ " margin lending financial services " ]A margin lending financial service is:
(a) a dealing in a margin lending facility that was issued after commencement; or
(b) the provision of financial product advice in relation to a margin lending facility that was issued after commencement.
