SECTION 49   TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT  

49(1)   [Term of office]  

The Tribunal Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson hold office, subject to this Division, for such periods, not exceeding 5 years, as are specified in their respective instruments of appointment.

49(2)   [Conditions of appointment]  

The Tribunal Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson hold office on such terms and conditions (if any) in respect of matters not provided for by this Division as are determined by the Governor-General.
