Schedule 4   Amendment of the Life Insurance Act 1995

70   Dictionary in the Schedule (definition of approved auditor)

Repeal the definition, substitute:

approved auditor means:

(a) in relation to a life company other than a friendly society - a person in respect of whom an approval under subsection 85(1) is in force, being an approval in relation to life companies other than friendly societies; and

(b) in relation to a life company that is a friendly society - a person in respect of whom an approval under subsection 85(1) is in force, being an approval in relation to life companies that are friendly societies.
