SECTION 279-30 ADDITIONAL PAYMENT IF INSURER MAKES A LATE CLAIM  
279-30(1)
This section applies to a private health insurer in respect of a month if:
(a) the private health insurer did not make a claim in respect of the month on or before the seventh day of the following month; and
(b) premiums in respect of the month under the ^[ast_1]

279-30(2)
The private health insurer may apply to the Chief Executive Medicare for payment of an amount (the additional amount) not exceeding the sum of the amounts by which premiums in respect of the month under the ^[ast_1]
