Division 6A - CCE grants made by or on behalf of corporate Commonwealth entities  

SECTION 25C  

25C   REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVISING MINISTERS INVOLVED IN MAKING CCE GRANTS  


A written notice given to a Minister by the accountable authority of a corporate Commonwealth entity complies with this section for a CCE grant opportunity if the notice includes the following:

(a)    

a statement to the effect that each of the CCE grants is an arrangement for the provision of financial assistance by or on behalf of the corporate Commonwealth entity that is subject to this Division;

(b)    

advice on the legal authority for the Minister to approve the making of the CCE grants;

(c)    an outline of the Minister ' s reporting obligations under sections 25D and 25E in relation to CCE grants;

(d)    

an outline of the process used by the entity to assess applications for the CCE grant opportunity, including an outline of the application process and the criteria used to select potential recipients;

(e)    

a copy of the guidelines for the CCE grant opportunity;

(f)    

an assessment of the applications for the CCE grant opportunity against those guidelines;

(g)    

an assessment of whether each application for the CCE grant opportunity would achieve value with relevant money;

(h)    

a list of the following:

(i) any applications for the CCE grant opportunity that satisfy all of the selection criteria included in the guidelines for the CCE grant opportunity;

(ii) any applications for the CCE grant opportunity that satisfy some but not all of those criteria;

(iii) any applications for the CCE grant opportunity that do not satisfy any of those criteria;

(i)    

an indication of which of the applications for the CCE grant opportunity that satisfy all or some of the selection criteria included in the guidelines for the CCE grant opportunity can be supported within available funding;

(j)    

a recommendation that applications that do not satisfy any of the selection criteria included in the guidelines for the CCE grant opportunity not be approved;

(k)    

any other recommendations of the entity regarding the applications for the CCE grant opportunity, including any recommendations relating to factors that may be taken into account under the guidelines for the CCE grant opportunity.
