An Act to amend the Higher Education Support Act 2003 in relation to the amount of a FEE HELP debt, and for related purposes

The Parliament of Australia enacts:
1 Short title
This Act is the Higher Education Support Amendment (Extending the Student Loan Fee Exemption) Act 2021.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

Higher Education Support Act 2003
1 Subparagraph 137-10(2)(b)(i)
Omit "30 June 2021", substitute "31 December 2021".
2 Subparagraph 137-10(2)(b)(ia)
Omit "1 July 2021", substitute "1 January 2022".
