1 Name
This instrument is the Administrative Review Tribunal Amendment (2026 Measures No. 1) Rules 2026.
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024.

Part 1 Authorisations by the President

1 Section 17 (subsection heading)
Repeal the subsection heading, substitute:
Functions and powers under other Acts
2 Subsection 18(1) (table item 7, column 2)
Omit "and 359A", substitute ", 359A, 367G and 367M".
3 Subsection 19(1) (table item 3, column 2)
Omit "section 363", substitute "sections 363 and 367F".

4 Paragraph 22(1)(a)
Omit "or section 30", substitute ", or an application referred to in section 30 in respect of which no fee is prescribed".
5 Subsection 27(1)
After "an application referred to in section 30 of this instrument", insert "in respect of which no fee is prescribed".
6 Section 30 (table item 12)
Repeal the item, substitute:

61 Application fees
The amendments made by Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the Administrative Review Tribunal Amendment (2026 Measures No. 1) Rules 2026 apply in relation to an application that is made on or after the commencement of that Part (whether the decision or decisions to which the application relates were made before, on or after that commencement).
