The FVS user guideExternal Link now reflects changes made for the introduction of Payday Super.
Updates have been made to data elements to improve data integrity, to enable faster payments and to provide better visibility of closed accounts including for Successor Fund Transfers (SFTs) and Intra Fund Transfers (IFTs).
When updating your unique superannuation identifier (USI) details, make sure the contact information for each of the USI's you manage is correct. Contact details must be accurate and complete to manage contributions and avoid processing delays.
Each USI must have a nominated and authorised person to verify the financial institution account (FIA) data (i.e. your FIA verification contact). If there are any changes to the FIA verification contact details, you must submit a Financial institution account verification details template with the updated information through Online services for business.
You are required to provide new or updated USI details at least 14 days before the new data takes effect.
